GTCC Business Women Network

GTCC Business Women Network is part of the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce and aims to connect and grow a community of like-minded businesswomen. At our quarterly content events the women have the chance to expand their professional skills and network at a personal and professional level.

In different intervals, we organize a unique content event tailored to the needs and interests of the business women community in Bangkok. Our inspiring speakers share their insights and participants have the opportunity to meet like-minded business women from all industries. Our event leaves plenty of time for networking and enjoying delightful food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere.

Our story

2017: Initiation of the “GTCC Businesswomen Network”

Female board members approached the GTCC Executive Director with the idea of creating a women-only networking group. This led to the formation of a new event format, which became the latest addition to the GTCC event portfolio, following the introduction of the “Young Professionals Network” (#GTCCYP) in 2016.

2018: First Event Kick-Off

The first event took place in February 2018, featuring a discussion round and experience sharing. This format encouraged active participation from all attendees and established #GTCCBWN as one of the few women-only business networks, and the only one among the foreign chambers of commerce.

2019: Growth of #GTCCBWN into a Community-Based Platform

After bidding farewell to three female board members during the anniversary event in February, GTCC took full responsibility for the network starting in May. A volunteer working group was formed to support event planning and strategy.
