Welcome Dr. Peter Ramsauer, Head of Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development of the German Parliament and Delegations to Thailand.
During their mission to Thailand from 17 to 19 February 2020, GTCC Executive Director Dr. Roland Wein and CIM Integrated Expert and GTDEE Project Director Mr. Markus Hoffmann visited the Thai-German Institute together with the German Parliament’s Head of Committee and Delegations and Mr. Georg Schmidt, German Ambassador to Thailand, on 18 February 2020.
The Thai-German Institute (TGI) is a joint initiative of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany. The aim was to be an effective training centre for the transfer of advanced manufacturing technology to Thai industry. It was established as an autonomous institution outside the formal education system, with its activities under the supervision of the Industrial Development Foundation and a broad supervision of the Ministry of Industry.
Apart from the work of the TGI, the focus today was also on vocational training in Thailand. Our representatives from GTCC presented the key activities and outputs of our German-Thai Dual Excellence Education (GTDEE) program.
