Sindhorn Kempinski Bangkok unveils its latest indulgence, The Blossom Garden Afternoon Tea. This refined experience presents a selection of sweet and savoury delights inspired by the cherry blossom season, which flourishes not only in Japan but also in Thailand and various European countries. The elegant set is presented in the hotel’s award-winning lobby, honoured as both Best Hotel Lobby Interior in Thailand and the Best International Hotel Lobby Interior by the International Property Awards.
The reimagined afternoon tea experience now showcases cherry blossom granita accompanied by Plain Scones and Matcha & Red Bean Scones served with Clotted Cream, Cherry Jam and Pineapple Jelly. Executive Chef Frank Trepesch has curated an exquisite savoury selection, including Matjes Hausfrauenart, Yen Ta Fo Chicken Dome, Foie Gras Tartelette, Crab Toast and Smoked Salmon Open Sandwich.
For those with a sweet preference, Pastry Chef Simon Eberhardt has crafted treats such as Black Forest Cherry Macaron, Blackberry Canelé, Cheesecake, and Coconut Roll.
Committed to sustainability, the afternoon tea is served in innovative eco-friendly containers crafted from husk bio-composite and coconut fibre. This initiative extends the hotel’s dedication to the environment, first launched with previous afternoon tea collections.
The Blossom Garden presentation features these sustainable containers suspended from a bespoke miniature organic tree adorned with blooming cherry blossoms amid an ethereal mist of dry ice.
By utilising rice husk – a by-product of rice milling often discarded through environmentally harmful burning these eco-conscious containers reflect Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok’s continued leadership in environmental responsibility.
The Blossom Garden Afternoon Tea is available daily from 13.00 - 18.00 in the Lobby Lounge, priced at THB 2,900++ per a set for two persons inclusive of a selection of premium tea or coffee.
To support and engage with the local community, THB 100 from each set sold on Wednesdays will be donated to the Autistic Thai Foundation and Foundation for the Blind as part of The Melody of Giving Back initiative. This programme aims to support musicians with disabilities, reinforcing the hotel’s dedication to social responsibility.
