GTCC SME Focus Group

GTCC SME Focus Group has been established in August 2024. Group members are executives of small and medium-sized enterprises with typically up to 250 staff in Thailand (SME). Our events are highly interactive discussions and exchanges of knowledge and experiences. The SME specific topics are covered by expert speakers. Event participants gain directly actionable advice on topics like AI, Financing, HR & Labor Issues, Cybersecurity and more. The events are free of charge and usually bi-monthly. If you would like to join the SME Focus Group events and receive the invitation mails – and are manager in a SME company and GTCC member – then please send a short notice to the mail below.

PURPOSES

GTCC SME Focus Group aims to serve the following purposes:

Exchanging experiences with SME peers
Facilitating partnership-based discussions
Establishing SME-focused network of peers
Focusing on workshops / trainings with support from experts
Focusing on knowledge transfer
Focusing on concrete, tangible, executable advice
Focusing on business cases and real-life problems

EVENT FRAMEWORK

Number of participants: Up to 30 GTCC Members per event
Timing and duration: Bi-monthly, 2 hours on Tuesday evening (or afternoon if longer than 2 hours)
Location: Meeting room / hotel / restaurant
Commercials: No admission fee. Participants pay for own consumption
Format: Workshops, “Ask the Expert – Q&A”, sometimes special activities (e.g. Speed SME business enablement, onsite meet-ups, business enabling at SME member offices)

EVENT TOPICS

Priority: PR, Citizenship, LTR, Smart Visa, IT Security, Cyber Security, Threat & Ransomware Prevention, Labor Law (hiring / termination process, legalities), technology update, AI deep discovery

Further requested: Legal/BOI matters, financing options for SMEs in Thailand, IT-outsourcing, tax, marketing, social media, efficiency apps, CRM, visa arrangement procedure with German Embassy, import / export topics
