Chef’s Table by lebua welcomes Chef Stéphanie Le Quellec, the acclaimed chef behind two-MICHELIN-starred La Scène in Paris, for an exclusive three-night collaboration with Chef Vincent Thierry, taking place from 1–3 October 2026.

Entitled Two Scenes, One Table, the collaboration brings their two distinct culinary worlds together at Chef’s Table by lebua in Bangkok. For three evenings only, Chef Stéphanie and Chef Vincent will translate the perspectives and culinary identities they have developed over more than two decades into one shared dining experience.

The exclusive seven-course collaborative tasting menu will feature three savoury courses from each chef, followed by a dessert created by Pastry Chef Guillaume Tournemolle.

A shared beginning. Two remarkable journeys. One table.

When Chef Vincent and Chef Stéphanie first worked together, Chef Vincent took on a mentorship role during an early and formative chapter of Chef Stéphanie’s career. He remembers her as a particularly determined and hardworking young chef. In a professional kitchen that was predominantly male at the time, succeeding required resilience, strength and character — qualities he recalls seeing in Chef Stéphanie from the beginning.

From that formative experience, their careers would take them on two remarkable but very different journeys.

Chef Stéphanie Le Quellec’s relationship with cooking began at an early age. Born into a family where cooking has been part of life for generations, she entered culinary school at the age of 14 before joining the kitchens of the George V in Paris in 2001, working alongside three-MICHELIN-starred Chef Philippe Legendre. There, she developed the classical foundations of her cooking, mastering sauces, temperatures and the precision of French technique.

Her journey later took her to Provence for eight years, including five years working with two-MICHELIN-starred Chef Philippe Jourdin. The region left an enduring influence on her cuisine, particularly its terroir, Mediterranean fish and olive oils. At just 28, she took the reins of the restaurants at Four Seasons Terre Blanche before returning to Paris as Executive Chef of Hôtel Prince de Galles.

In 2011, Chef Stéphanie became the first female winner of Top Chef France. At Hôtel Prince de Galles, she earned her first MICHELIN star just nine months after opening, followed by a second in 2019.

That same year marked a new chapter with the opening of La Scène, her own restaurant in Paris. Within four months of opening, La Scène was awarded two MICHELIN stars. Today, the restaurant remains at the heart of Chef Stéphanie’s work: an intimate expression of her cuisine where simplicity, elegance and taste come together, and where creating emotion for her guests remains central to the experience.

What began as a mentorship in a Parisian kitchen now comes full circle in Bangkok, with Chef Stéphanie and Chef Vincent meeting again as two accomplished chefs, each bringing the perspective of their own journey to the table.

Two scenes. One table.

Every great performance begins with a stage, and every city has its own way of setting the scene.
Paris writes its gastronomy like a script refined over generations — precise, theatrical and unmistakably its own. At La Scène, a stage in both name and spirit, Chef Stéphanie gives that tradition a contemporary and deeply personal voice.

Bangkok offers a different stage. At Chef’s Table by lebua, high above the city, craft meets altitude and the skyline becomes part of the experience, providing the setting for Chef Vincent’s expression of French gastronomy.

For three evenings, these two scenes become one.

Rather than approaching the collaboration as two separate culinary expressions presented side by side, the seven-course experience brings their respective perspectives together at a single table. Across the savoury courses, each chef will present three creations, allowing their individual culinary voices to unfold within one shared experience before the menu concludes with dessert by Pastry Chef Guillaume Tournemolle.

The result is a dialogue between two culinary perspectives shaped by different experiences, yet connected by a shared foundation — brought together for three evenings at one table.
