lebua Bangkok, the world’s first vertical destination encompassing sophisticated accommodations, global cuisine and authentic experiences, announces that the hotel has been named the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association’s (IGLTA) first accredited hotel in Thailand. This recognition by the leading industry association dedicated to advancing LGBTQ+ inclusivity in travel and tourism, distinguishes lebua Bangkok as a brand committed to creating a welcoming and elevated experience for everyone.

“It is an incredible honor to receive this recognition from our friends and colleagues at IGLTA,” says Narawadee Bualert, President and CEO of lebua Bangkok. “lebua Bangkok’s vision has always centered around providing an elevated setting filled with lavish services and features that embraces and celebrates diversity. It is a true testament to our staff in carrying our brand’s commitment to inclusive travel.”

Comprised of lebua at State Tower and the Tower Club at lebua, lebua Bangkok provides a collection of spacious suites with modern touches and lavish amenities. The vertical destination’s array of 11 award-winning dining and cocktail features, which includes the two Michelin-starred Chef’s Table by lebua and Mezzaluna by lebua, offers a range of delectable all-day culinary highlights and endless scenic viewpoints of the surrounding Chao Phraya River and bustling city. Weaving inclusivity and the brand’s signature Thai hospitality into all services and aspects of the hotel and restaurants, lebua Bangkok ensures a warm and authentic experience for all.

To continue to learn and create an even better overall guest experience, lebua Bangkok hosted alongside IGLTA a LGBTQ+ Travel Reception in August where industry experts were invited to learn about and discuss the importance of building inclusive brands in tourism and hospitality. The evening included a special panel session where executives from Booking.com, Jordan Attraction Tours, and lebua Bangkok explored the opportunities, challenges, and shared responsibility in shaping a more welcoming, inclusive future for travel in Asia.

“As the first hotel in Thailand to receive IGLTA’s accreditation, we hope to help lay the groundwork for more inclusivity in the region and are honored to do what we can to play our part,” continued Bualert.
