Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok joins the world's bartenders in raising a glass, and raising funds for Negroni Week, from Monday, 21 September to Sunday, 27 September 2026.
Five parts, one week. The Negroni Sundowner takes over the 40th-floor Bar.Yard on Saturday, 26 September, with free-flow Negroni cocktails, a special Negroni BBQ and DJ Joe Cola on the decks. That same evening, Ricky of Bar Notes, Seoul, steps behind the Bar.Yard bar for a guest shift. On Sunday, 27 September, Stock.Room hosts the Negroni Brunch, and later that evening Tammy of 12-Bar Blues, Shanghai, pours the final round of the week at Ruby's. Running underneath all of it is the Negroni Week Advent Calendar, spotlighting a featured Negroni every day from Monday to Sunday at CRAFT, Ruby's, Stock.Room and Bar.Yard.
SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER, 4:00 P.M.: NEGRONI SUNDOWNER AT BAR.YARD
For one evening only, Bar.Yard opens early. From 4:00 p.m., the 40th-floor rooftop is given over to the Negroni Sundowner, an early-evening celebration built on free-flow Negroni cocktails, a Negroni BBQ, and DJ Joe Cola turning up the soundtrack, with views of Lumpini Park and the city laid out below.
The Negroni BBQ runs on smoke and citrus, built to stand up to a bitter aperitivo: Thai ceviche in coconut leche de tigre, Chifa chicharrón bao, crispy seabass sandwiches with ají amarillo tartare, and a Kamado station turning out beef heart anticuchos, hoisin-chilli pork belly, turmeric-and-coconut chicken thigh, and slow-cooked BBQ pork ribs. Tres leches and cinnamon-sugar churros close it out.
The Negroni Sundowner runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tickets are THB 1,900 net per person booked online through Megatix, or THB 2,237 net per person at the door. The à la carte menu is available throughout as an additional purchase.
At 7:00 p.m., Bar.Yard returns to its regular à la carte dinner service and hands the bar to a guest.
SATURDAY 26 SEPTEMBER, 7:00 P.M.: BAR NOTES, SEOUL, TAKES OVER BAR.YARD
As the evening winds down, Bar.Yard welcomes Ricky, owner of Bar Notes in Seoul, South Korea, for a guest shift running until 11:00 p.m. A fixture of Seoul's contemporary bar scene, Bar Notes has built its name on precision, personality, and cocktails that reward a second look, and for one night only, that sensibility lands 40 floors above Bangkok. The shift is proudly sponsored by Campari.
SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER, 12:00 P.M.: NEGRONI BRUNCH AT STOCK.ROOM
Negroni Week closes the way Italy would want it closed: at the table. From 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Stock.Room hosts the Negroni Brunch, bringing its signature Sunday spread together with free-flow Negroni cocktails and live entertainment from Zoe Stickney and band of The Sis fame, plus DJ Natty.
The menu leans Tuscan and complements the bitter0orange backbone of the cocktail beside it. A 48-month-aged Ibérico de Bellota “Pata Negra” is hand-carved to order, the live station turns out prosciutto and truffle cream on focaccia, and finocchiona salami and burrata pizza arrives oven-fresh. There is homemade pappardelle with Tuscan duck ragù, herb-crusted roasted beef striploin from the carving board, and porchetta Benedict from the free-range egg station. Dessert comes as the Negroni Dessert Collection: Negroni meringue pie, Negroni cheesecake, Campari and cranberry tart, vermouth cream cannoli, and chocolate panna cotta with Campari jelly.
Alongside it all sits an ocean bar of freshly shucked oysters, king crab and rock lobster, a Japanese and Nikkei sashimi counter, a charcoal grill and tandoor, Indian and Levantine stations, an artisanal fromagerie pairing international and Thai farmhouse cheeses, and a full bakery and chocolate room.
The regular package is THB 2,500 net on Megatix and includes two hours of free-flow Negroni cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks. The premium package is THB 3,000 net on Megatix and adds wine, sparkling wine to the selection.
SUNDAY 27 SEPTEMBER, 7:00 P.M.: 12-BAR BLUES, SHANGHAI, AT RUBY'S
The final pour of Negroni Week happens on another floor entirely. Four hours after brunch has wound down at Stock.Room, Tammy, founder and head bartender of 12-Bar Blues in Shanghai, takes over Ruby's from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
For Tammy, mixology has never been only about what is in the glass. It is a story told through music, rhythm and genuine human warmth. She opened 12-Bar Blues in 2020 inside Shanghai's music-infused Blackstone Apartments, structuring it like the twelve-bar blues progression itself, with twelve reinterpreted classics in every seasonal menu, and later expanded into 12BPM, a slower-tempo room devoted to whisky. Her intention was never a cold commercial venue, but a neighbourhood living room where flavour and life are discussed like old friends.
She arrives in Bangkok decorated: Fabbri Lady Amarena World Champion in 2019, Woodford Reserve The Wonderful Race China Champion and winner of the Asia-Pacific Trailblazer Award in 2026, with 12-Bar Blues named a Two-Star Bar of the Year in China's Cocktail and Spirits List Awards.

SEVEN DAYS, ONE COCKTAIL, A BETTER FOOD WORLD
Negroni Week began in 2013, when Imbibe Magazine and Campari invited bars and restaurants to serve the classic Negroni, and its endless variations, in the name of a good cause. More than a decade later, it has raised over USD 5 million for charitable organisations worldwide, with proceeds supporting Slow Food, the global movement working towards a food and beverage world that is fairer, more sustainable, and accessible to all.
The cocktail itself needs no introduction: equal parts gin, Campari and sweet vermouth, stirred over ice, finished with orange. Bitter, balanced, and endlessly rewritable, which is precisely why seven days is barely enough.
Negroni Week runs from 21 to 27 September at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok.
