Bewährtes Instrument der Außenwirtschaftsförderung des BMWK

Die Exportinitiative Energie ist im Dezember 2015 aus den 2002 und 2007 gegründeten Exportinitiativen Erneuerbare Energien und Energieeffizienz des BMWK hervorgegangen, die sich seit ihrer Gründung zu einem erfolgreichen und bewährten Instrument der Außenwirtschaftsförderung entwickelt haben.

Die Zusammenführung dieser beiden Initiativen trägt dem Umstand Rechnung, dass die beiden Themenbereiche eng miteinander verflochten sind. Zudem wächst die Bedeutung von Systemlösungen im Auslandsgeschäft, die nun durch die Erweiterung des Technologiefokus der Exportinitiative Energie besser darstellbar sind.

Neue Dachmarke der Exportinitiative Energie: Mittelstand Global

Mit dem Ziel, die Exportwirtschaft kleiner und mittlerer Unternehmen zu stärken, hat das BMWK seine Angebote zur Außenwirtschaftsförderung unter einer neuen Dachmarke „Mittelstand Global“ gebündelt. Somit präsentiert sich auch die Exportinitiative unter dieser Dachmarke: "Mittelstand Global – Exportinitiative Energie".

Informationsreise “Energiespeicherlösungen (inkl. Wasserstoff)“ (25.09.–28.09.2023, Hauptstadtregion Berlin)

eclareon in cooperation with the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) organizes a fact-finding mission for Thai energy experts from September 25-28, 2023 to Germany.

The four-day fact-finding mission focuses on the topic “Energy Storage Solutions (including H2)” and is part of the German Energy Solutions Initiative supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

The aim is to provide the delegates a comprehensive overview of the German solution approaches in the field of energy storage technologies.
On September 25, 2023, a kick-off event with networking opportunities will take place at the DIHK in Berlin. eclareon, GTCC, German experts and multipliers in this field will provide practical information on the current market trends, key market players and the latest technologies.

The following days, the participants will visit reference projects and companies in Berlin, showcasing its product highlights, insights and the applied technology solutions. The participants will learn about the specific challenges and solution approaches, as well as experience state-of-the-art projects.

Virtual Energie-Geschäftsreise: Energy Generation and Energy Infrastructure in Cities (14.-18.03.2022)

German companies enjoy an excellent reputation for the quality, innovation and reliability of their products and technologies. The “Made in Germany” brand is generally valued and associated with cutting-edge technology and German companies are already involved in selected projects in the market in Thailand.

To intensify the cooperation between Thai and German companies, and within the framework of the German Energy Solutions Initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) in cooperation with eclareon GmbH is going to organize a virtual Technology Conference on the topic of “Energy Generation and Energy Infrastructure in Cities” on March 15, 2022.

The aim of the conference is to discuss state of the art technology solutions. Next to having Thai and German experts outline the latest trends and policies in both Germany and Thailand, the virtual conference will feature exclusive presentations by all participating German companies highlighting respective products and technology solutions.

Virtual Energie-Geschäftsreise: Energy Efficiency in the Industry (15.-19.11.2021)

The industrial sector is a key energy consumer in Thailand. In terms of final energy consumption per sector (period January-May 2021), industry (37%) is just behind the transport sector (39%), followed by residential (13%), commercial (8%) and the agricultural sector (3%). Broken down by industry, the following picture emerges: the food industry is by far the largest consumer when it comes to energy and electricity.

The Thai industrial sector contributes around 34% of GDP (2019) and is also a key source of carbon dioxide (CO2 emissions).

Technology Showcase: Energy Efficiency for Buildings – Made in Germany 2019

An offer for German Energy Efficiency Technology Providers and its Thai Partners supported by the German Energy Solutions Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi)

Successfully implemented reference projects are key to being successful in the Thai market. This showcasing event provides German energy efficiency providers and its Thai partners with a platform to highlight their competences and service portfolio. The focus is on successfully implemented projects and applied technologies with an energy savings aspect. The technologies and know-how should be Made in Germany and is implemented ideally together with a local Thai partner. During a one-day event in Bangkok in calendar week 44 (2019) the selected German companies and their Thai partners can present their reference projects in front of a selected target audience and a winner will be chosen. Selected reference projects will be visited by a group of industry, media and public sector representatives during the same day. The Award for the winner will be presented at a Networking Event in the evening.

The five-day fact-finding mission focuses on the topic “Low-energy and energy plus buildings in Germany” and is part of the German Energy Solutions Initiative supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The aim is to provide the delegates a comprehensive overview of the German solution approaches in the field of energy technologies for the building sector.

On November 18, 2019, a kick-off event with network meetings will take place in Berlin. RENAC AG, GTCC, German experts and multipliers in this field will provide practical information on the current market trends, key market players and the latest technologies.

The following days, the participants will visit reference projects and companies in Berlin and Frankfurt, showcasing its product portfolio, insights and the applied technology solutions. Energy Infrastructure and Energy Storage in Germany. Fact-finding mission for energy experts from Thailand in Berlin & Munich (12.-16.03.2018)

The Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG in cooperation with the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) organizes a fact-finding mission for Thai energy experts from March 12-16, 2018 in Germany.

The five-day fact-finding mission focuses on the topic “Energy Infrastructure and Energy Storage Solutions in Germany” and is part of the German Energy Solutions Initiative which is supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

The aim is to provide the delegates a comprehensive overview of the German solution approaches in the field of energy infrastructure and storage technologies.

On March 12, 2018, a kick-off event with network meetings will take place in Berlin. RENAC AG, GTCC, German experts and multipliers in this field will provide practical information on the current market trends, key market players and the latest technologies.

The following days, the participants will visit reference projects and companies in Berlin and Munich, showcasing their product portfolio, production insights and the applied technology solutions. The participants will learn about the specific challenges and solution approaches concerning the design of framework conditions and standards/norms, and look at implementation examples in Berlin and Munich.

AHK-Geschäftsreise: “Biogas” (20.-24.11.2017)

To foster and accelerate the cooperation between Thai and German companies in the field of renewable energy, and within the framework of the German Energy Solutions Initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) in cooperation with the Renewables Academy (RENAC) is organizing a business trip to Thailand between 20-24 November 2017 on the topic of “Biogas”.

The business trip will encompass a German-Thai Technology Conference on Monday 20 November 2017 in Bangkok. The aim of the conference is to discuss state of the art products & technology solutions in the Biogas sector. Not only will Thai and German experts outline the framework conditions for doing business in both Germany and Thailand, but all participating companies will introduce themselves, present their products, services and technologies, as well as allow for individual discussions with interested Thai companies after the conference and even more so during the days following the event during the period of 21-24 November, 2017.

Innovation Seminars: Energy Efficiency in Buildings (01.-05.02.2016)

In order to inspire the next generation of architects, engineers, urban planners and construction managers, the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce (GTCC) is organizing for the very first time the Innovation Seminars: Energy Efficiency in Buildings. The seminar series is scheduled to take place from February 01-05, 2016 at four selected universities in Bangkok.

A selection of leading German (niche) companies will present their latest green technologies, solutions and projects featuring innovative, energy efficient building solutions to students and faculty members of the participating universities as well as other young professionals.

The seminars will also include presentations from leading German and Thai experts, as well as the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI) highlighting recent projects and current trends in the green building and building efficiency sector.

GTCC: Successful Biogas Kick-off event with Thai delegation in Berlin (27.04.2015)

Within the framework of the export initiative “renewables – Made in Germany” the GTCC organized a business & study trip to Germany on the topic of bioenergy. The kick-off event scheduled for April 27, 2015 turned out to be a huge success.

The event was opened by Mr. Jan Immel, Deputy Executive Director of the GTCC, and co-organiser eclareon Gmbh, who welcomed the Thai delegation and provided valuable information on the export initiative “renewables – Made in Germany” supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). The German Biogas Association then introduced the German biogas market before Dr. Jan Adolph, managing director of DABEC Consulting, focused on the role of biogas from a technical perspective.

After this initial briefing on the topic of biogas in Germany, the Thai company representatives were introduced, followed by a networking session with the German participants Enspar Biogas GmbH, Huning Maschinenbau, 2-FIFTY-5 green investment solutions GmbH & Co. KG, ALENSYS Engineering GmbH and NORTH-TEC Maschinenbau GmbH. Interesting presentations and fruitful discussions made this kick-off event a true success story.
