At 120 locations in 80 countries around the world, the members of German Chamber Network (AHKs) offer their experience, connections and services to German and foreign companies. AHKs are located in all countries which are of special interest for German companies. | The number of members of the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce remains steady at around 500. The membership list includes the main German banks as well as many leading companies from the electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, engineering, and construction sectors. Thai companies which do business in Germany are strongly represented, too. | In July 1999, the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce moved to its new office in the heart of Bangkok's modern business district. The new over-head mass transit system ('Skytrain') and the new expressway from the city center to the airport pass within 100 meters from the Chamber, greatly improving the accessibility of this prime site. |
