About GTCC Cluster Meeting

“GTCC Cluster Meeting” is a platform for a sector-specific experience exchange, firstly introduced in 2014. The objective of this meeting is to encourage member companies and experts from related industries to voice ideas and discuss challenges, current issues, and common concerns regarding the topics in question. At the moment, there are 11 major cluster groups defined so far:

Participation in the meeting is exclusively reserved for GTCC members and representatives from related industrial sectors. At this initial stage, this exchange forum is scheduled as an annual event for each specified cluster group. This experience exchange forum aims to advance a business relation among active members to the next level.

Topic: The ASEAN ICT Overview and Thailand Opportunities 

ICT has been recognized as a key factor in economic and social transformation for all countries. A huge investment is now being put to develop broadband and infrastructure in order to provide the best possible and affordable ICT access to their people.

As we are moving towards The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), it will become a single community (people, culture, and economics). ICT development in ASEAN has much improvement which a new ICT platform. With integration of ICT across ASEAN countries, this can help to accomplish a greater competitive advantage for our region. 

ICT will be a key enable for ASEAN and Thailand social and economic integration. It will also help ASEAN to transform into a single market and eventually become a global ICT hub and enhancing the quality of our working and social lives.
